Linkages Program

n 1995 the Development office was successful in receiving funding under the Federal and Provincial Governments "Linkages" program. This program provides money to organizations to help them find employment for young people. Three young people were placed in positions for 26 weeks with local businesses.

The goal is to give young adults, between the ages of 16-24 a chance to get work experience. Funding for this project was administered through Human Resources and Employment (RHE).
