Purpose of the Victoria Community Development Corporation

The VCDC is run by a volunteer board with a mandate to help local people improve the economic and social conditions for residents of Victoria and the Trinity Conception Region. Members have focussed on creating development opportunities by building partnerships with private and public groups and agencies within the community and region.

Activities are based on in-depth research and strategic planning into what the community/region feels are its important needs, most viable projects, and available resources. The VCDC's work includes a variety of projects in the areas of Tourism, Education, Environmental Protection, Business Development
