Adult Education and Computer Training

In 1995 the VCDC in conjunction with Eastern College and was successful in having Adult Basic Education courses offered in the town at Persalvic High School so that interested residents could avail of this opportunity more readily.

As part of this agreement with Eastern College 20 other students completed a 30 hour Introduction to Computers course in February and a second 45 hour course in Basic Computer and Word Perfect.

Funding for these courses came from Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA). This funding was administered through the College.
