Message from The Ven. T.W. Moulton

Dear Friends:

At the request of the Diocesan Leadership I agreed to come and be among you in your Parish during the maternity leave of your Priest-in-Charge The Reverend Amanda Taylor.

I explained to the leadership that I had purchased tickets to go to the United States during the month of March and that I had commitments to others around that. It is still my intention to follow through with this and will be away during the month of March. We will by God’s grace find someone to fill in during this time.

Other than this interruption I shall be with you full time during the absence of your priest. I look forward to meeting you and sharing ministry with you.

To me “people matter, people commit”. It is with this understanding I come to work along side you praying that we will all be guided by the Holy Spirit.

Please make yourself known to me and if I can be of help to you individually or as a group please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,
The Ven. T.W. Moulton

Arms of Jesus Mission in Guatemala

Pam Norman and a group of people from the Praish of St. Matthew and St. John participated in the work of the mission during the fall of 2008 and spring of 2009.

Their work and committment continue with another trip to Guatemala on March 28, 2011.  Neil Marsh, Eric and Pam will be part of a team of 13 people are in place from various churches.  They are looking forward to participating in this important and rewarding mission.

The ministry in Guatemala began with a sponsorship program designed to help the poorest children. The program provided these children with food, clothing and medical care as well as guaranteeing an education. The children's families are linked with social workers that seek to offer help, counsel and family guidance.

Pam called the work "A Dream of a Lifetime."
