St. John the Evangelist Bake Sale:  St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church Women will be celebrating their 115th Anniversary on February 10th and to celebrate this occasion a Bake Sale will be held at the Bay Roberts Mall on Saturday, February 11th.  All donations may be brought to the Bay Roberts Mall on Saturday morning between 9 and 9:30 am or delivered to any member.  Your support would be greatly appreciated.

St. John the Evangelist Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 immediately following the 11 am service.  This meeting will begin with a pot-luck lunch.  At this time we wish to thank out-going vestry members for their service and commitment – Marilyn Murrin, Don Bishop, Jean French and out-going wardens – Gus French and Roy Jones.  In preparation for this annual meeting we ask that if you are approached to offer yourself as a nominee for one of these positions you will prayerfully consider accepting.  We are the Body of Christ in our world and each one of us has a role to play in carrying out Christ’s Mission.

St. Matthew’s Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2012 immediately following the 11 am service.  This meeting will begin with a pot-luck lunch.  At this time we extend thanks to out-going vestry members David Mercer, Neil Marsh and out-going wardens – Pat Clarke and Don Butler.  We hope to see you there!  “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19).
