Margaret Ayad, owner of Baccalieu Consulting, is specialized in Instructional Design.

Before starting Baccalieu Consulting, she was employed with educational institutions in the K-12 system, the community college system, and Memorial University. She utilized her skill and training in instructional design, working with school staff to develop units in courses across the high school curriculum. She developed workshops for teachers in computer use. She also taught computer studies, piloting a number of school programs, including one on Internet use. With the community college, she taught introductory courses on computer use. At Memorial University she taught courses in Cataloguing and Information Services.

Ms. Ayad graduated from Memorial University with conjoint degrees, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education. She later obtained a Master of Education degree in Curriculum with specialization in Learning Resources.

In November of 1999 and March and April of 1998 she attended the course Instructional Design for New Media sponsored by Operation OnLine and OLIN.

In addition, she has prepared instruction for e-learning using her own design, using Web-CT, and using Blackboard.
