The most useful resources on the Internet are the Search Engines. Google and Altavista are the two that we use most frequently. If you are looking for FREE resources on the Internet -- just type "freeware" or "free stuff" in one of the major search engines, and you will get many lists of resources. If you want a specific type of resource, just type the type of item, for example "free wav files."

There are a number of sources which rate and distribute free and inexpensive software on the Internet. Three of the most popular are: TwoCows, c/net, and ZDNet.
